The Bobo coffee table is designed to create a piece that originates from a single material, crafted through a process that embodies the skill and mastery of woodworking, evoking ancient craftsmanship traditions. Made from turned wood, it features an inset of natural light ash, reminiscent of a ray of sunlight, created using the inlay technique. Inlay is an ancient technique that dates back to the 3rd century AD and reached its peak in Tuscany during the 1400s. The term derives from the Arabic word “tarsi,” meaning “connection.” Structure: Solid walnut Canaletto wood structure, lathe-turned and then handcrafted. Available in a selection of wood finishes. Finished with inlay in bleached ash, always in contrast.
